About Golf on the Edge
In 1990 investors from the area pool their resources and formed The Edge of the Wilderness Golf Course in Bigfork, MN. Then in 1999 the course was sold to the Baileys, Dvoraks and Warrens who formed Wilderness Golf Course. In 2005 the course was sold to the Gylfees who formed Golf on the Edge. The idea for this name came from Ken Dvorak. In early 2020, husband and wife, Scot Hanson & Kati Kanne, purchased Golf on the Edge.
The course is a regulation 9 holes complete with a putting green, chipping green, and a 300 yard driving range.
It is not unusual to see deer, bear, fox, squirrels or Canadian Geese on the course. The statuesque bear situated near the clubhouse was donated to the course by the Baileys.
